Qventus Builds a DEI Foundation Using Paradigm Reach
About Qventus
Qventus, the leader in real-time automation for care operations, knew that equipping its employees with diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) skills would not only improve the inclusivity of its own team — it would ultimately help advance DEI in healthcare. With this ambitious vision in mind, the company knew it needed an approach to DEI education that is practical, impactful, and sustainable.
A DEI Journey
Qventus began its DEI journey with live training. While the training was well-received, Qventus quickly realized that live training poses challenges: not everyone can attend at the same time, and it is difficult to scale. After exploring a range of DEI training options and providers, Qventus chose the Paradigm Reach blended learning platform.
“We were initially reluctant to do online training because of the challenges that could come in getting it up-and-running when we didn’t have a full-time DEI team. I really appreciate how simple it was to implement Reach, and how easy the platform makes it to roll out content and engage learners. It’s the little things that make it a great experience for administrators — for example, automated reminder emails for our learners. Having to write and send emails to push engagement would be small but significant overhead for our small team, and Reach alleviates that,” said Qventus’ Director of Enterprise Sales Operations Claire O’Shea.
Qventus also realized it didn’t have to sacrifice live training, and took advantage of Reach’s quarterly instructor-led workshops, included free with the platform. Overall, the blended learning approach — the mix of online content and live dialogue — has been what resonates most with employees.
